Aspen Art Museum

Various projects across print and digital, including 360° video and signage.

Aspen Art Museum in 360° Trailer

Directed, filmed, edited, and color graded 360° video content including exhibition documentation and selected performances. Created trailer previewing the museum’s 360° offerings; designed motion graphics and icons utilizing elements of the museum’s proprietary font.

Exhibition: Wade Guyton Peter Fischli David Weiss

360° documentation of the museum-wide exhibition that leads the viewer through both both interior and exterior spaces. The sequence is based on the vision of the building’s architect, Shigeru Ban. The viewer ascends to the rooftop in a glass elevator and then descends through the galleries to the lower level, mirroring a gondola ride to the top of Aspen Mountain and a descent through the landscape on skis.

Behind the clouds it’s lovely

Five channel installation in the Minneapolis College of Art and Design’s Black Box Gallery. The screens form a network of ideas leading to an ominous conclusion about surveillance capitalism. Each screen contributes different sounds to the room that compose a glitchy, brooding soundscape. Panels of glass reflect and multiply the images.

Preamble

Short video and application developed in Processing. Audience members downloaded the app onto their laptops; when deployed the video played simultaneously across screens and concluded with the remote activation of each user’s webcam.
